question about tor and unique website hits


hi there,

if i'm running my web browser through a tor/privoxy server would everytime i got to a website make it a unique hit, even if i've already been there before?

that all depends

Most anonymopus proxies are when you contact the Proxy and they use their IP Address to fetch your requested page.

so say they have 4 different IP addresses
theres a 1 in 4 chances you'll use the same IP.

plus you arent the only one to use that proxy and those IP addresses so
more people have visited the same site with the same IP Address.

Final Say
the chances of you having even 1 unique hit is pretty slim
