Public IP NAT to other public IP

Hi, this is somehow idiotic thing to do but is it possibile. I need it just for specific IP addresses.

I want to forward ALL ports from specific public IP that are destined to a server with two NICs and two public IPs. Also clients gateway is not specific server that I want to do nat.

So if a client with eg.212.200.12.12 doing a request to my Server eg 112.1.1.1 I want all traffic forwarded and NATed and send it to specific public IP 12.1.1.1 over second interface.

these are small number of clients and will be always forwarded to one specific Ip.

Now in theroy this may work . but I dont know is it really possibile.

Also i have to do it in Win2008 with RRAS, but thats for another forum and another story

It is certainly possible. Whether the addresses involved are public (routable) or private (RFC 1918) is of no consequence to the NAT mechanism.
