Angry proxychains or tsocks with java not working

I am trying to proxify java using tsocks or proxychains similar to what i did in windows using freecap or widecap http://webspherehelp.blogspot.com/20...onitoring.html but it's not workin in linux for some reason, java making a TCP wouldn;t go through the proxifier. Can anyone help or have done this before ? please advise.
