Question Proxy for Counter-Strike(Half Life)

Hello,

I've a linux-based gateway and windows-based clients.
I'd like to be able to play Counter-Strike or Half-Life.
If someone has already done this, or has an idea... please tell me.
I've searched around the net and I didn't found anything.

Excuse my poor english, i'm french

Cool CS&FIREWALL

I used the firewallconfiguration RPM that comes with RED HAT. I changed the default policies to accept and save/applied. Then I downloaded hlds_l from a link provided in the setup instructions on: http://server.counter-strike.net/linuxbasic.html Then i dowdloaded and extracted the CS mod. Just follow the instructions on the link and you should be good.. Read up on IPCHAINS if you are unfamiliar with firewalling.

Thx.

i don't want to set up a CS server, i'd like my clients to be able to play on remote servers through my gateway.

Angry CLIENT ONLY

You will have to allow allow outgoing TCP/IP&UDPconnections to port 27015 using masquerading. And you will have to allow TCP/IP&UDP incoming connections to port 27005.
Like I said there is a very good firewall program that redhat puts out. It has a GUI interface.
