Proitection (firewall) server


Hi
1. 2 nic how do i forward the in coming ip adress to the rest of the network. Can i forward my the in coming ip to a router of (DI-604) ?
2. Can some one give me a tip of a guide to iptable and outher firewalls.
I want to protech my network .
3. How can I setup my server to be a web server ?
4. Is tripwire good (program) ?
5. Some more tip for protecting my network ?

visit http://www.netfilter.org u will find lots of documents about iptables.

apache is the most used web server on this planet. u may use it.
if u start apache server, it will automaticly listen to tcp 80 on every network interface. the default web root is /var/www/html
