How do i make anonymous users able to view hidden files, and allow them to change directories? Also how do i change the default anonymous directory?

Thats all done within proftpd.conf

to be able to view/change files as anonymous user you have to change those file permissions as needed.

for anonymous home dir, the usual is /home/ftp so change:

<Anonymous /home/ftp>
User ftp
Group ftp
UserAlias anonymous ftp
MaxClients 10
RequireValidShell no
AccessGrantMsg "Welcome to my FTP Server!"

<Limit WRITE>
Deny from all
