hi guys,

I am running proftpd on my linux box. (RH9)
When i connect to this server and try to copy the files from the PC from where i am connecting to, the pc shows,

ftp> put linux-5010.tar.gz
200 PORT command successful
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for linux-5010.tar.gz
226 Transfer complete.

but when i see on my linux box, the file is copied and the size of it is 0 kb
i get the same error for whichever files i try to copy.

can anybody help me out?
