problems displaying graphics on my website

Hi Guys,

I have problems displaying graphics on my website; the machine hosting the site is a Linux 8.0 server, which runs apache 2.0?

The site ran successfully from my Linux 6.0 server, which ran apache 1.3. However, when I copied the web directories to /var/www/html on the Linux 8.0, only the text and some graphics are displayed. Ninety percentage graphics is displayed with a red x. Should I have placed my /images directory in the /icons directory? Or is it something to do with the httpd.conf file.

The site was created using frontage 2000? Does apache 2.0 have probems with frontpage 2000? The files were copied to the linux server using windows explorer, will this have created the problem?

Hope someome out there can help?

jr

Maybe the html that links to the graphics is using an absolute path instead of a relative one and it can't find most of them now?
