Hello Everybody,

I am a complete newbie to linux....I recently installed fedora core 8 on my laptop but the wireless connection doesnt seem to work....The wifi led does not glow......I somehow need to to start internet on linux but am stuck and have no idea how to proceed....How can i get linux to detect my wireless card and start the connection....

Can someone please guide me as to how should i proceed now ?

Do you use a ethernet card for wireless so the wireless modem is connected to the ethernet card if so
try system >administration > network devices
