Hello All.
I have current two problems with samba- the first one is that when I log on to the XP box I get this message saying that it cannot find nor can it save profile information to the server.
Does any one have fix for this. I have changed the permision on the /var/lib/samba/profile directory and the folder as well.
This is where it is to point to in my SMB.Conf file as well.
THe other problem is I can not print from XP to the Samba -Cups printer. I made mistake in putting in the wrong driver information in the XP side when configuring it. Now it will not let me change it for nothing. I am wondering if it is locked in the Linux side of things? Because I have tried everything except format C:\.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.
