I want do join an WinNT Workstation to an Samba Domain.
The PDC is based on Samba 3.0.24 with Gentoo.
We are using
As far as I know its necessary to add the maschine acount manually. So I have do it so with
usr/sbin/smbldap-useradd -a -w gsxwinntwk
usr/sbin/smbldap-usermod -a gsxwinntwk$
Ok, so far no errors.
But when I want to add the workstation it allways apperas the eror message that: "The connection the the domain controller for this domain is failed, please contact your Administrator to check your account"
I'm logged in at te workstation with Administrator. In the domain thee is an identical user same name, same password, who is domain administrator)
ping, dns aund wins seems to be ok.

One problem could be the "FAILED with error NT_STATUS_WRONG_PASSWORD" - error.
