problem......installing bind
 
[root@localhost Server]# rpm -ivh bind*
warning: bind-9.3.3-7.el5.i386.rpm: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 37017186
error: Failed dependencies:
libpq.so.4 is needed by bind-sdb-9.3.3-7.el5.i386

Use yum instead.

Alternately, get and install postgresql-libs at the same time. But yum will take care of dependencies for you.

Spell your words out, and ask a clear question. You provide no details, like version/distro of Linux.

Yum will probably be your best bet...if you're using a system that HAS yum. Most distro have online repos that you can install it from. If you don't want to, do some research, and find the package that provides the missing dependency, and install it. That's obvious from the error message...it's missing, so you have to install it.
