Problem connecting graphical FTP clients to vsftpd on SuSE 10.1

Hello,

I have vsftpd 2.0.4 running on SuSE 10.1. The problem I'm having is that when I try to connect to FTP with a graphical client (i.e. Internet Exploder, or any graphical client) it asks for a username and password then the connection times out. Logging in via a command-line client works just fine.

I disabled passive mode in one of the graphical clients I tried and that made it work just dandy. But when I run a "status" command on the FTP, it shows that passive mode is enabled. And passive mode is enabled in my vsftpd.conf as well.

Any suggestions?

Thanks a bunch,
-Nick
