Printing in VNC

Not sure if this is the correct area to post this question but I am always open to suggestions.

Exceed on Demand (EOD) is distributed with a utility called 'elpr'. What this utility does is redirect print jobs to the EOD connection, which in turn will bring up the Windows print dialog from which you can then print.

For example if I enter "elpr ~/.bashrc" on a terminal in the EOD session, instead of just sending the print job to the print the local Windows print dialog will come up and I print the file from there on the local machine.

Is there a similar utility that would work like this in VNC?

Hope my question is clear.

no, VNC is just a basic (and AWFUL) protocol for viewing the screen. If you look at a decent solution like NX, I think you can do it over that.
