Primary and Secondary DNS

Ok. I have finally managed to finish my DNS service but there is a problem. DSL's upload time is not enough and T1 is too expensive for me so i have to go with a cable connection, but they cannot give me a static ip. So i was thinking if i could run my DNS service "hidden" and my secondary Dns is going to be from secondary.com. Now if i make my primary nameserver hidden, would so the secondary.com's service would look for my ip right? And would it work? If it does, how well do you think it would? If my ip changes i can just change it at secondary.com and it would take affect without changing my ip from the ICANN which would not take two days. What do you guys think? :D

I don't think that is going to work. I am sure you could get a static from your cable company but its probably considered a business account and not a residential.
Plus, the DNS server does not look for any IP changes when IP's on a computer using dynamic IP's change.

You could sign up with http://www.dyndns.org and run some software on your server so the a URL follows your server around. Thats how my machine is on the web.
