prevent using server IP


I've got a linux box act as a FW/Router to share internet for LAN's clients. How can i prevent clients from using IP of server.

I assume you have the router setup as dhcp? Just don't include the server ip address in the range.
Usually in /etc/dhcpd.conf

each computer on local LAN has it own static IP, and the users can change it any time they like . Sometimes they "borrow" server's IP and you can guess what'll happen afterward.
