PPTP VPN routing negotiation

Hi, all!

Is it possible to setup pptp in Linux to negotiate routing automatically, like
in Windows XP?
In our company there's quite large number of subnets in style of 192.168.x.x
and no access to Internet from VPN box. WinXP box, when connects to VPN, negotiates routing properly and is able to connect to these nets and goes to other adresses via its own default, provided by ISP.

Is it possible to setup Linux PPTP client the same way, or at least to know what mechanics is
behind this negotiation in XP? It doesn't work this way in 2k, btw, so ATM in both w2k and XP I have to setup "route add" lines, it is a thing which I'd like to avoid.

Any ideas?

S.
