Angry pptp client does not connect to poptop vpn server

hello there
I am having trouble getting my pptp client to connect to my poptop vpn server. my windows machines connect fine. I think it has to do with the fact that the server requires mschaps v2 but i am not sure if pptp client has support for this. if it does how do i select it or what else could be wrong?
