pppoe.so sending sessions packets with wrong src mac

Hi
I am trying to connect a pppoe session using the pppd (supplied with suse linux) and the plugin pppoe.so .

The session proceeds to the LCP phase and fails . On the ethereal found that the LCP packets that we were sending are with the wrong src mac address. The discover packets were however sent with the correct src mac (the eth1 interfaces).

Is it a known problem with the pppoe.so or am i doing something wrong ..

my command is something like this :

pppd call pppoe.so eth1 .. <other params>

Thanks.
