PowerDNS server on dynamic IP

Hi.

Is it technically possible to setup a PowerDNS server behind a dynamic IPv4?

I'd like to use, for private purpose, PowerDNS on my ISP's internet connection. The connection is very stable, but changes every couple of days. I have (of course) a dyndns FQDN address.

Before I dig myself deeper into PowerDNS, I first need to know whether this is basically possible (meaning ... configurable within PowerDNS).

Thanks,

Not enough info. What problem are you worried about? I don't use PowerDNS, but Bind has no problem being on a machine with a dynamic IP nor with resolving hosts with dynamic IPs when configured properly.

Hmmm ... I don't really know what I could possibly explain more.

The PowerDNS server is supposed to be connected to the Internet via a dynamic IP.

My worries are, that the PowerDNS configuration might require at some point (e.g. /etc/powerdns/pdns.conf) a fix IP, which I can't provide since it changes all the time.
