postfix: Relay access denied

Hello
I have setup a mail server useing postfix which has also got pop3 installed (qpopper). On this server i also have webmin installed. when i send a email using webmin it gets to my email but when i send it through pop3 it comes back saying :

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: DOMAIN.COM
Sent: 19/02/2004 23:23

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'EMAIL@DOMAIN.COM' on 19/02/2004 23:23
554 <EMAIL@DOMAIN.COM>: Relay access denied

How can i fix this?

mail does not go out through POP.

Is postfix configured to handle messages for blueyonder.co.uk?
What does the lline (in main.cf) mynetworks= look like? Is your local IP range in there

blueyonder.co.uk is handeled by my isp.
sorry i ment how can i get postfix to let me send mail from an email client such as outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird or IncrediMail? I have set all three of these softwares to use my server as an smtp server and a pop3 server. I can recive emails via pop3 but i cannot send through smtp because it comes back with a smtp realy error.
I have not used the mynetworks= part as i will need to be able to send mail from everwere (i am trying to setup a email server which everyone at my work can send and recive from at home)

but you need to tell postfix who it can/should accept messages from. Otherwise your server becomes an open relay (a really bad thing). Sounds to me like what you may realy want to do is configure SMTP AUTH.

See:
