Postfix cannot find domains
Hi,
All the outgoing mail from my Postfix server is getting stuck in my queue because it apparently cannot find the domains for the mail. I had this problem in a previous configuration, but I managed to fix it by modifying resolv.conf to point to my ISP's DNS servers instead of my router. I also set it to chattr +i /etc/resolv.conf as it would oterwise be changed when my IP was renewed by DHCP. This fixed it last time, but not this time. Any help is much appreciated. (The domains do exist btw) |
Post fix has its own resolv.conf file, check that:
/var/spool/postfix/etc/resolv.conf |
Hmmm, it doesnt exist. Lets see what happens if i create it.

Woohoo it worked. I just copied /etc/resolv.conf to /var/spool/postfix/etc/resolv.conf
Thanks for ur help |
