hi there,

I'm trying to setup my mail server at the moment but when i send a email from my mail server it comes from

i just want it to come from

can someone help me out with this

Its probably the parameter "myorigin" that you need to set to "".

If that doesn't work, have a look at, but off the top of my head another thing to try would be to use a "generic" map for this. Something like

smtp_generic_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/generic

in, and /etc/postfix/generic has an entry like:

Don't forget to

postmap generic

to create the db
