Post Ports monitoring


Is it any tool developed in c which is used for monitoring the
network traffic on a system based on the port numbers?.

What did you mean with "system" ?
If system is network-wide, than there is a good one: NTOP (www.ntop.org).
It's a web based charts with all information you can imagine.

If system is only one linux machine, than netstat can helps you. It's text based, but it can show details of the network traffic in your machine.
