Port Forwarding Based on the Source

Can you port forward based on the source ip of the packet?? Everything I have read only shows how to port forward based on the destination port of a packet.

Yes and no.

Under 'iptables' - you add the "destination rule", but also add the source rule.

--source 192.168.1/24

Lookup the man page for iptables. Not sure if similar exists under ipchains, but it's likely.

Thank you for your help. After putting in the source and playing with some of the options I was able to get it to work.
