Hello Vasili,

In RHEL POP3,POP3S,IMAP and IMAPS has been changed from Xinetd. They are no longer controlled by Xinetd and run as standalone serivces. They come in the package Dovecot. The config: file is /etc/dovecot.conf. Just uncomment the line starting with ' protocol' and add the desired protocol and restart the service. For the secure version you will have to create the certificate, which is located in /usr/share/ssl/certs called 'dovecot.pem'. Just remove it and issue the command 'make dovecot.pem'. After that copy the cert: to the private directory which exist in '/usr/share/ssl/'. Restart the service and thats all.

Thanks,,
