Just now i tried to install smbk4 after configuring i am getting a message as

checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

and after make install i am getting like

Code:

make: *** No rule to make target `install'.  Stop.

I am i stalling as root...

You need to install the KDE development package before building KDE applications.

Prebuilt versions of smb4k should be available in your distribution's repositories, or look in the KDE repositories.
