Dear all,

with the help of this forum, my usb wireless card works. i config a ip to my wlan0, the gateway and the nameserver. But i`m facing a strange behave, i can ping my route and other computer on the network, but i just can ping que slackware if i ping the other computer.

network:

notebook(WIn7)---->(wireless router)<-----slackware

slackware ping (wireless router) ok
slackware ping (notebook(WIn7)) ok

notebook(WIn7) ping slackware work just if slackware is pinging notebook(WIn7).

In other Words i can ping from slackware not to slackware.

Sounds like you may have ICMP Ping blocked in the firewall on the Slack box. It works if there is already an outgoing conenction established but blocked otherwise.
