permission denied to connect by root


HI,
i am using mandrake 10.0 with KDE.
i am connecting other system by root permission....i can not...

all other users are working fine..but root permission denied..


[staff@Simlab-node5 staff]$ su
Password:
[root@Simlab-node5 staff]# ssh 10.255.240.198
root@10.255.240.198's password:
Permission denied, please try again.
root@10.255.240.198's password:
Permission denied, please try again.

shell i know the idea???thanks..

Perhaps "PermitRootLogin" is set to "no" in the other machine's sshd_config file? Of course, allowing root logins is considered by many, including myself, to be a major security issue.
