Performance check?

Hi,
I have deployed a site on two different machines one is Windows XP and the other is Linux RH 9. Both have Apache, PHP and Mysql configured. The site is same developed in PHP http://www.xoops.org/. Now when I am trying to access the site deployed on RH it is opening very slow. Both machine are in the same network. Now I am trying to troubleshoot any network configuration or any site configuration. As http://www.xoops.org is opening well so means there is no issue with PHP and IE so it seems any machine trying to access this RH machine is not performing well.
Now I have used ping command to view the connectivity. The only difference I have seen is TTL as the ping to RH machine is giving TTL64 while to any other Windows machine is giving 128. Is this may be the reason?
Please let me know how to figure out this performance issue and let me know if any other info required.

Just reading the info at http://secfr.nerim.net/docs/fingerpr...l_default.html and seems TTL is not the reason of my performance.

Thanks

yes TTL is different for diferent OS.

just check the load on the RH machine what services are running etc
