Packet Routing/Forwarding/Whatever Setup Help

I need some help setting up a pair of systems.

System A has two NICs in it: 1 and 2. NIC1 is connected to a switch and has a static IP address and has access to the net. NIC2 will have a static IP address of 192.168.1.101. System B has a single NIC and will have an address on 192.168.1.102. System A NIC2 will be connected to System B NIC via a crossover cable.

Now, here is my question. How can I setup System A and B so that System B has access to the internet? If anyones knows or know where I can find the info to do so, please let me know.

TIA,
Keith

well all u need to do is that just configute the iptables firewall on ur system to act as a router on ur network and use the aquids proxy utility to configure proxy settings within the network.
but i would like to tell u dat the data transfer rate in the crossed cable is very very low so internet may not function properly better use a switch/hub/bridge as a communication media.

right now i m in a hurry to catch a plane, i wd write the procedure of configuring the iptables firewall and squids proxy after a few days.

All you need is to enable ip_forwarding and specify the second nic as the gateway of the cross-over pc.
