Other computers cant connect to me?

I have installed RH8 on my server as a server. I am having trouble with
the other computers on my network not being able to access the server.
I suppose I have to set up user accounts, but I don't know how?

I would also like to know how to change my domain and workgroup.
This is my first experience with linux and I would appreciate any help
so as to make my linux experience an unforgettable experiance.

Hello :-)

You might have a little reading to do then...
First, we will have to assume that there is windows boxes connecting to you Linux box. So you use a Samba server.

To change the domain look into /etc/samba/smb.conf (all configuration will normaly be in /etc/)

Read this file carfully, it's full of very usefull informations!!

You can also do
man smb.conf
wich is manual for smb.conf

BUT BEFORE DOING ANYTHING

Make a backup copy :-)
(cp /etc/samba/smb.conf /etc/samba/smb.conf.org)
