openvpn connecting to a hradware vpn box

hello,

i have recently discovered openvpn ( ) i have already linked two boxes together and its working perfectly, all from reading the how to

now i would like to link to a hardware vpn box, its using all the right protocols, and it has a shared key ( no problem i head you say )

the box will not give out the shared key in a format openvpn understands, in the web interface it just give the the plain text version in alpha numeric.

is there a way i can put this plain text shared password into a open vpn key so i can connect?

the vpn box is a 3com creation, called office link, or office connect or something

any help will be much appreciated
thanks
antken
