openMosix not working properly

i have openmossix installed on 2 mahcines, this one and anothe rone downstairs. before i add a third node, i want to make sure these 2 will work.

so far, i patched the kernels (both kernels are running 2.4.27 with openmosic patch-2.4.27-om-20041102 downloaded from http://openmosix.snarc.org/files/rel...m-20041102.bz2)

openmosix is started (i started it manually from /etc/init.d) i used openmossixview and it says both nodes are up and functional.

now what do i have to do to relieve a load and have it balance? i tried using the run button from openmossixview, and it doesnt work, it outputs some command line error.

i mainly want to use it with blender to render my images and animation across the network.
