Only receiving UDP packets, no TCP
I have 2 linux boxes, both started with 2.4.20. I recently rebooted both of them, including my linux 2.4.25 router, due to rewiring the house.
After the reboot, I had some trouble communicating to the boxes from the router, but thought of it due to router settings being reset. But now I cannot seem to do anything that utilizes TCP packets. My workstations get DHCP info, they can touch nameservers over UDP, and so forth. I tried compiling 2.4.25 and using a newer kernel to no avail. I logged packet movement between my local lan nic on my router and one of the workstations, and there seems to be alot of `Who is ip here? Tell boxname.` (if it helps any) I'm using debian, the router is 2.4.25 and the workstation in question is 2.4.25, both running woody. Thanks in advance :/ |
bump. 100k users and nobody has anything to even suggest where to look to resolve the problem? sigh..
