not able to get connected to net

Sir..Herewith I am enclosing a desktop screen shot showing details of my
internet connection.Please watch it and tell me how to get connected with net.

Those 2 displays tell us that you ARE connected!! What is happening to suggest that you are not?

In a browser, can you get to Google? If not, then open a terminal and do this:

ping www.google.com

If you do not get a reply, then try:

Code:

ping 74.125.19.103

If neither works, see if you can ping the router at 192.168.1.1

If the second one works, and the first does not, then you have a DNS issue. Tell us about your connection method, and what instructions you are given for DNS, etc.

Also, it appears that you are behind a router. Is the WAN side of the router set according to the ISP instructions?

What is 192.168.1.1? Is it a proxy server?

It is almost certainly the LAN/Internet router.
