no workig network on several dist of linux


i have an simple problem
tried several distributions of linux pc-Linux 92, 93, BSD, PC BSD, uganda, mandriva, su-se, debian (old), kanopix, knopix...
I have older box with D-link DFE-528TX network adapter
Sys have found all the hardware
my ISP uses DHCP
my box dont find network via dhcp
help

What kind of network is it? What was your previous operating system, and what did you need to do in order to connect?

This link has linux driver for the revision E http://www.dlink.com.au/tech/default...odel=DFE-528TX if thats the problem - kanotix uses netcardconfig to set up cards but you dont say what distro you use now.

problem resides in telsar cable modem if is windows configured on it it recquire a restart bin order to linux vork with it ... if other waz is to be used win on prev linux is not nessesary.... strange :=) tnx all
mz dist is pc linux
