No network connectivity beyond network card linux8
 

All,
Im running linux 8 and just worked out the Prism card problems for prism ver3 (wpc11 linksys). After I got the wireless card recognized by the system, my orinoco now refuses to come up, and the liksys and cisco card will not connect to the network at all.
I can ping the loopback and ping the cards assigned address'. Trying to ping the gateway is nothing but a whole lotta grief for this box.

any ideas at all? Help will be so accepted.....

Well, what error messages do you get, cause I don't understand what you mean by "network card refuses to come up" ? Is that when your booting up your machine, etc ?

Also what version of Linux are you using ? Cause there is Redhat 8.0, Mandrake 8.0, Slackware 8.0, Suse 8.0.... etc ?
