NIS - ypserv problem

Hi, I've been trying to set up this Linux network at work here, and I'm a little stuck. I got NFS to work, which was fairly easy, but I can't even start working on NIS yet. I need to install ypserv, and that's where I am stuck. I did "rpm -Fvh ypserv-2.8-0.9E.src.rpm" then "./configure" then "make" and "make install". I got no errors, but now what? I said it should be in /usr/local/bin but its not, and I just can't get it started. Anybody know how...

Thanks,
Shawn
