NIS for Redhat Enterprise Linux WS 3

Hi,

Does anybody know if there is ypserv version that works on Redhat Enterprise Linux WS3?.
We want to run NIS on WS3 and not spend an extra $300 for one package.

Unfortunately, redhat does not include ypserv in the WS3 version.
However i heard there is a workaround to getting NIS to work in WS3?
Your expertise is needed.

Thanks
jigsaw

Smile yp-serv on rhel3

You need the following packages:

ypserv
yp-tools
ypbind

You can search for these on rpmfind.net
