NIC VIA VT86c100A Rhine-II PCI cannot ping other workstations

Greetings!

I am from Infanta, Quezon, Philippines.

I'm having problem installed pinging other workstations in my LAN. I have installed RED HAT 9 with 2 NIC.

eth0 alias for via rhine (VT86c100A Rhine-II PCI) activated. installed Cannot ping other wokrstations.

eth1 alias for dmfe (Davicomm ) activated. In good working condition. Can ping other workstations.

I'm wondering what seems to be the problem.

can you please help me to solve my problem?

A little more information is needed please..

What ip numbers are on each NIC ? do ifconfig
What routing table do you have? do route -n in a console..
Which kernel module loads to drive the Rhine-ii card? do lsmod
