I recently setup NFS4 server (centOS) . My client's are RHEL 5.7 . I have setup bind and mounted the NFS shares to the clients . I have few local accounts which has UID , GID same across all clients but doesn't exist in NFS server (/home is a NFS share and hosts the ssh public key) . I am able to ssh to the clients for the accounts which exist in the NFS server also but not able to connect to the users which doesn't exist in NFS server . For non existent server users , all I see is nobody:nobody as the permission ,
>idmapd translation is set to nsswitch in server and client,
