Question help me with nfs unused


I have a linux SuSE8.1 operating system
with a Samba server when my pc is starting
i`ve get the message:

mount smb filesystem unused

when i try to mount nfs i get the error

mount: can`t find /etc/init.d/nfs in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab

what can i do to fix this problem????
i`m trying to setup a samba servr but i think this is the problem it don`t work!

help ! help!

Samba and NFS has absolutely nothing to do with each other. What do you mean when you try to "mount nfs"? What commands are you issuing.... whats the error returned?

What does your smb.conf file look like?

What does "smbclient -L localhost" show?

I must give a password
but the strange thing is the password is empty
if I press enter without typing anything the password is correct

everything is okay

but i have no workgroup and no server name
and the domain name is stil standing on TUX-NET and i had changed it to holtrop
