Smile nfs gnome

Hi,
I have a Tru64 Unix NFS server and some Redhat Linux 7.2 NFS clients.
My situation is
a) Tru64 Unix NFS server works fine
b) One Redhat 7.2 NFS client works fine (client A)
c) I'm trying to setup the second Redhat 7.2 nfs client (client B), and
I am yet to install the other clients.
d) While trying to setup the second client (Client B), things go fine till
I try to open something in gnome desktop. The desktop hangs
abruptly and nothing can be done anymore.
e) Root account (which doesn't use nfs mount) on Client B works
fine - Gnome works fine. Hence problem is with nfs I presume.

My doubts:
1) Has my client A made some settings which are not compatible with Client B? (settings made by A are stored in nfs server)
2) How can I set gnome setting (or desktop settings) common to all my clients.
Help me!
Ganesh

Hi,
I just found that mixing ethernet cards of different speeds (10/100mbps and 100mpbs full duplex, the only difference between my clients) in the same network (ie. in the same switch) causes the gnome to hang while reading nfs mounted directories.
Using same type of ethernet cards solved the problem :-)
