NFS Client question
I have recently started an NIS domain and setup all my /home directories to be shared from a central NFS server. My 1st client system seems to be working fine except for the [rpciod] process. It has a status of SW, this is the first time I see this. From my reading on rpciod it is related with NFS, is the process being swapped with one on the main server? It creates a process directory like so
/proc/688/fd: No such file or directory the 688 is trivial..it is the [rpciod] PID and randomly changes. Is this normal? Is there a service I should stop/run...? I have been having a hard time finding info on this on the internet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.   |
