Hi and thanks for your help before hand!

I just installed the eval version of SuSe 7.3, i played with it for a bit and I can not figure out how to connect to the internet. I went through the proceess of setting up my connection but it hasn't seemed to work at all. When SuSe was starting from the eval disk I got this error stating that "SSH DAEMON" failed upon installation. I dont know what that is or if it has anything to do with my network connection. But any help would be very helpful. Remember that I am a newbie and have no prior linux experience only windows experience...... Thankyou!:smash:

You need to be a lot more specific when you say internet connection.

What kind of connection, who is the isp, username and passsword.


JUST KIDDING about the username and password.

NIC: D-Link 550tx

ISP: Cox@home (cable)

Can't figure how to set it up so I can access the internet.
