Newb Apache setup

Hey all

I'm a total newb to Linux & Apache and networking in general...I've got a Webserver i'm trying to run off a linux box. I have a domain set up and i've set it to re direct to my ip address & i've set my router to forward all http requests to 192.168.0.3 which is the linux server.

I can access the site by entering 192.168.0.3 in my browser on the other pc on my network but when I enter the actual web address into the browser it dosen't seem to re direct and i get a "Page cannot be displayed".

Is there something im missing? Apache is running and I have everything setup correctly from what I can see...can anyone point me in the right direction?

Any help would be appreciated!!

A few things to try:
Ping the url, check you get the external ip address returned, even if ping fails.

Enter the external ip in you browser.

Check logs in router. Can you set logging to log everything? Is this being blocked or forwarded?

Check the logs in the server. Is there a firewall in the server that is restriced to accept local subnet ip only?

Try from an external PC. Perhaps in and out of the local network is an issue. Though it shouldn't be. (I went to the library).
