Networking WinXP and Linux
 

I've been trying for days to connect my linux box and my winxp machine with Samba. I'm on a T1, and both my computers are conntect to it with a Switch. I can go online from both the machines, i just need to be able to share my folders and printer(since i only have 1).

I've tried every tutorial available online on samba, none of them seem to be working. I don't know if it is a WinXp issue. If anyone has succefully networked xp and linx, please respond.

I've been trying for weeks, too. I can do share level security, but user level security isn't working. I'd love to help you cause that would mean my setup was working.
