Networking related book( suggest )

well fellow iam a undergrad student of computer science and i have came up a free book. titled
UNIX
Network Programming
Networking APIs: sockets and XTI
by W. RICHARD STEVENS

i heard from some that Unix and Linux uses same network support architecture. unixware 2.0 or some thing like that.
i would be very grateful if someone could guide me on this. Its free book so i dont want to lose it .is this book a good choice or iam aastrayed.

and more over i have RedHat 9 installed. and i donot want to change to UNIX

Dude Linux and Unix are basically same. I have also used that book
believe me everything will work in linux.
