Exclamation Networking Monitoring Tool

Hi to all!

I have a simple question that maybe you with your experience could give me a tip on that...

I was looking for a tool to make network analisys ... like to know connection speed, local network speed, probe nic cards and clients... something to monitor and analise the network trafic and speeds...

any ideia ?

thanks!

Good... ntop is very interesting and can give some good help. But, do you know something that I could use to monitor my bandwidth ? Like to see how much of the bandwidth is being used in the momentos for the hosts?

thanks again!

Uh. Maybe search Freshmeat/Sourceforge. There's *tons* of apps that can do bandwidth accounting, ranging from small single binary apps to ISP-like setups, just pick one that fits your case I'd say.
